Hose Hook

The Hose Hook is an innovative patent pending multi-purpose tool that acts as a handle for carrying hose rolls. Works with up to 5 inch hose. Fits into a standard turnout gear pocket. Its integral wrench tackles up to 2 ½ inch rocker lug couplings and most 4” (100 mm) and 5” (125 mm) Storz couplings. Wrenches foam bucket lids open easily. Or use the hook area’s rounded shape to grab, walk, and drain most hose. Slides over a hinge to block the door. Molded from lightweight, durable nylon. Bracket for apparatus mounting included.

Spanner / Gas Wrench 4577

The Fire Coupler Spanner and Gas Wrench is a durable, light weight wrench used to tighten and loosen 1" (25mm), 1-1/2" (38mm), 1-3/4" (44mm), 2" (51 mm) 2-1/2" (65mm) and 3" (76mm) fire hose line couplers, swivel hose fittings and anvil lug couplers. The tool can also be used to open standard, 70mm caps on foam concentrated containers. There are two different sized slots incoporated into the wrench for use as a gas cock shut off. The 4577 is made from incredibly tough, glass-filled nylon, comes in a high visibility yellow color, is spark and corrosion proof and includes a quick snap belt clip. The 4577 wrench is 7-1/2" (190mm) long and weighs just 2-3/4 oz (79g)

Super Spanner/ Hydrant Wrench 4579

The Super Spanner and Gas Wrench is a durable, light weight wrench used to tighten and loosen larger size fire hose couplers. Designed for use on swivel hose fittings and anvil lug couplers ranging from 3" (76mm) up to 7" (178mm) hose lines and most Stortz fittings. The 4579 Wrench can also be used to operate standard 1.5" and 1.25" pentagon fire hydrant nuts. The tool will also open standard 70 mm caps on 5 gallon foam concentrate pails and the large and small threaded plugs on 55 gallon drums. In addition there are two different sized slots incorporated into the wrench handle for use as a gas cock shut off. The wrench is spark and corrosion proof and includes a quick snap belt clip. The 4579 wrench is 17 3/4" (450mm) long and weighs just 14 oz (400g).

Pickhead Axe, 6 pound with fiberglass handle

Probably the most recognized hand tool used by fire departments, the Pickhead Axe is indispensable on a fire scene. Our axe has a six pound head as compared to the hardware store variety which usually weighs in at around four pounds or so. A four pound head is good for use around the house or farm where the user might have to swing it for a few hours. However, fire departments need maximum force and cutting power for a short time. The additional weight ensures deep cuts with every swing. The pick (actually refered to as a pall) allows the user to pry through plaster laths, dry wall, etc.

Sheet Hook by Paratech

The Sheetrock Hook has a large contact point to allow for greater areas for sheet rock or lath & plaster to be pulled with each downward thrust. The teeth penetrate tin roofs in three places to allow a better purchase so it will not pull through.

Master Hook by Paratech

(NY) Roof Hook

The (NY) Roof Hook was developed with participation of the New York City Fire Department research and development division. Our all-purpose head, aircraft steel shaft, chisel end, and celtex grips makes up this unit.
The chisel end is used as a prying tool for scuttle hatches and roof doors. The short lengths are good for going up fire escapes and scuttles to the roof. Accept only aircraft steel for lightweight, but strong tool. Can also be ordered in fiberglass. SPECIFY. Ring added to chisel end is $15.00 extra. Comes in 3', 4', 5', 6', 8, 10'

Officers Hook

T-Hook

Trash Rake Hook by Paratech

The Trash Rake Hook was originally used in Los Angeles. Although used primarily to overhaul trash and rubbish, it does an outstanding job in roof ventilation and pulling of lath and plaster.

Arson-Trash Hook

This hook was developed to find hiddenfire in deep seated smoldering fires normally found in dumps or dempsey dumpsters. The normal hook just won't pull trash in large quantaties. Our trash hook, because of it's two large six inch pointed prongs, will grasp debris in huge chunks.

Universal Hook

This hook does it all. It can penetrate or pull all types of materials used in the building trades. It features two sharpened blades, one on the top for penetration during thrust and one underneath for slicing on the pull stroke. An arc hook on the back of the top blade is used in place of limited space. A chisel tooth of 1-1/2" right angle blade - tooth is sharpened to penetrate loose materials on the chop stroke.

Eckert Hook

The pride of the mid-town (NYC) trucks. Used to open tin ducts, air conditioning systems, and complex metal hoods found in restaurants. Its sharpened edge serves to penetrate tin on the push stroke while the six sharpened teeth on the underside complete the cut on the pull stroke. Can be used conventionally in the removal of lathe and plaster.

Gator-Back Hook

It will cut lathe, plaster, and sheetrock faster than any tool on the market today. On its back is ten sharpened cross cutting teeth that can cut on the pull stroke as well as the push stroke.

Chimney Hook

San Francisco Hook

The hook used by the San Francisco Fire Department since the turn of the century. We streamlined the design and brought more function to its features. A sharpened edge and penetration point was added to the right angle along with large gripping teeth on the underside. Celtex grips and fiberglass shaft completes this unit. A gas shut-off and directional slot is built into the ram knob.
