Thermoplastic outer shells provide greater impact and penetration resistance than fiberglass and are more reliable with repeated heat exposures. Thermoplastic helmets also have excellent durability, standing up to daily wear and tear to maximize a department's investment in head protection equipment.

Fiberglass Models

Fiberglass outer shells are more resistant to chemical attack and more stable at extreme temperatures than those made of thermo-plastic material. Fiberglass helmets also feature color pigment that is molded directly through the shell so nicks and chips are less visible.
