Whiffs - Brush Prto Mask

The NEW & IMPROVED Whiffs Brush Pro Mask is now available. With the same proven technology as the original Brush Pro Mask, only with a sleeker design; the new & improved Whiffs Brush Pro Mask is easier to put on and take off. We’ve replaced the Velcro head strapping system with an elastic band made of Nomex ® material! Rather than using the ‘over the head’ strapping system, you’ll simply need to tie the elastic band behind your neck. It will no longer be necessary to remove your helmet or any other gear. The Whiffs – Brush Pro mask is made of Advance Nomex ®, which carries a 1050° heat rating. The breathing port of the mask is made of Nomex knitted hood material which also carries a 1050° heat rating. The Brush Pro mask is lined with blue Indura ® Ultra Soft ® cloth with a hydro lone finish. This material helps to wick moisture from the firefighters face and prevents the transfer of radiant heat to the skin. The Brush Pro mask is the most versatile mask we make. It is excellent for wildland firefighting and perfect for structural overhaul/mop-up. Its sleek design makes it comfortable to wear, even in hot climates. The black Velcro ® attachment point at the bridge of the nose on the outside of the Brush Pro mask should be used for attaching to the goggles. The other three Velcro attachment points on the OUTSIDE of the mask should be used for attaching the optional neck shroud. The Whiffs – Brush Pro Mask weighs 2.1 oz. It is machine washable in cold water, and should be hung to dry. (Xcaper ® filters, Whiffs Shroud, and Goggles are sold separately.) Each Brush Pro Mask comes with one Xcaper professional filter.

Whiffs Carry Bag

This bag is perfect for carrying up to 5 Xcaper filters and a Bush Pro, Mop Up Pro or Tack-Air-Pro mask. It is made of Advanced Nomex cloth and has a hook fastener on one end and a draw cord and stop lock on the other end for easy access. The bag is 11" x 5" x 4". It is machine washable in cold water, and should be hung to dry.

Whiffs Shroud

The Whiffs Shroud fits the Brush Pro Mask and is made of Advance Nomex which carries a 1050° rating. The Shroud is lined with blue Indura Ultra Soft cloth with a hydro lone finish. This material helps to wick moisture from the firefighters face and prevents the transfer of radiant heat to the skin. It is the perfect accessory when more protection is needed. The three Velcro attachment points on the INSIDE of the mask should be used to attach to the Whiffs Brush Pro mask. The Whiffs Shroud weighs 2.6 oz. It is machine washable in cold water, and should be hung to dry.

Whiffs Brush Pro Mask & Shroud

The Whiffs Brush Pro mask and Whiffs Shroud are made of Advance Nomex, which carries a 1050° heat rating. The breathing port of the mask is made of Nomex knitted hood material which also carries a 1050° heat rating. Included with this product is a detachable elastic head strap. This strapping system secures the mask and filter to the firefighters head, assuring that the mask will not slip down in any type of condition. The Brush Pro mask and Whiffs Shroud are lined with blue Indura Ultra Soft cloth with a hydro lone finish. This material helps to wick moisture from the firefighters face and prevents the transfer of radiant heat to the skin. The Brush Pro mask and Whiffs Shroud are usually used by advance strike teams that need maximum protection from heat and particulate matter. The shroud is detachable when not needed. The Brush Pro mask and Whiffs shroud weigh 4.8 oz. together. They are machine washable in cold water, and should be hung to dry. (Xcaper filters are sold separately.)

Whiffs Manta X 30

The New Manta X ® 30 is made of Carbon X ® material and Kevlar ® elastic with Nomex thread. The Manta X 30 is easy to use just like a Bandana. The Manta X is made of stretchable material which makes it easy to pull down and up when needed. (The Manta X 30 is a slightly larger version of the Manta X 20). Used with an Xcaper Filter (which filters hazardous gases and vapors and 100% of particulate matter) you have the perfect combination of protection for 4 to 6 hours. The filter simply Velcro’s to the inside of the bandana. Each mask comes with one Xcaper professional filter.

XCAPER Professional Easy Breathe Filter

Like the Xcaper Professional Filter the High Altitude Filter delivers unparalleled protection by trapping particulate matter and absorbing hazardous gases common to smoke in wildland fires, structural fires, overhaul, arson investigation and various SWAT situations. The cloth of the filter passes the California E117 burn test, (direct flame for 38 seconds before the cloth will ignite). The contents of the filter include a combination of a proprietary, all-natural plant extract which is hypoallergenic, and styrene beads. This formula makes the Xcaper filter feel moist and cool to the touch. The gel will not steam, so there is no risk of steam burns. The styrene beads are used as a medium to trap the particulate matter and allow the filter to fit any shape or size face. Laboratory tests indicate that the Xcaper filter will trap anhydrite water-soluble gases such as Hydrogen Cyanide, Carbon Monoxide and Acrolein! The filter will last 8-12 hours in a wildland situation. For optimal performance, keep the Xcaper filter in its original vacuum sealed, airtight bag until ready to use. The High Altitude Filter is easier to breathe though in those situation where drawing breath is more difficult. *Also available in a discounted six pack.
