MSA Ultralite II SCBA
| |
MSA
offers air masks in both low pressure (2216 psi) and high pressure
(4500 psi) versions and can be customized with a variety of air
cylinders for regular and extended-use applications. All MSA air
masks comply with the requirements of NIOSH and MSHA. The Ultralite
II complies with ANSI/NFPA- 1981, 1992. Air masks are pressure demand
and designed to maintain a slight positive pressure of air inside
the mask during inhalation and exhalation. This helps to prevent
contaminants from seeping in around the facepiece even if there
are small breaks in the face-to-facepiece seal.

MSA MMR "Mask Mounted Regulator" Elite Mask |
| |
MMR
Air Masks feature a sleek design and provide high performance
in a comfortable, lightweight unit. Designed to provide exceptional
peripheral and downward vision, the Ultra Elite Facepiece is available
in three sizes and in a choice of two materials: silicone or SoftFeel
Hycar rubber - an MSA exclusive. The design of the Ultra Elite
Facepiece is based on extensive studies from more than 8,000 individuals.
Performance is maximized by splitting the regulator stages, with
the first-stage mounted on the cylinder backplate and the lightweight
second-stage regulator mounted on the unit's full facepiece. An
intermediate pressure hose connects the two stages and is routed
through the harness. MMR provides a clean low-profile design with
air hoses concealed within harness straps to reduce clutter and
the bypass system conveniently located on second stage.

MSA Fire Hawk SCBA |
| |
MSA’s FireHawk™ air mask, MSA’s latest SCBA platform, takes its name from their highly successful FireHawk mask-mounted regulator and demonstrates innovation with an all-new Airframe™ carrier and harness assembly. The FireHawk gives you more safety and ergonomic features than any other SCBA on the market, and some of them can even be added to existing Vulcan carrier and harness assemblies for firefighters who want more features on their same great SCBA. MSA is standardizing thier family branding of SCBA, and the “FireHawk” name will identify NFPA-compliant air masks used by firefighters. Industrial air masks now bear the trademark “AirHawk,” and law enforcement (tactical) SCBA are called “BlackHawk” air masks, replacing the “Custom 4500,” “Ultralite,” and “MMR Xtreme” names.

MSA Hip Air SABA |
| |
MSA Hip Air SABA is an approved, rated five-minute escape device. The pressure demand air-line respirator phase is connected by an approved air-supply hose to a primary respirable air source; the worker breathes from this source with the valve of the egress (exit) cylinder of the device turned off until the user is ready to leave the working area. The user can leave, connected to the primary air source, or can open the egress cylinder valve and have approximately five minutes'; respiratory protection. When breathing from the air cylinder, the user can remain connected to the primary air supply and exit, or can disconnect from the air source for easier escape. If the primary air supply source should fail for any reason, the worker can switch to the egress cylinder by turning a valve and escape to a safe atmosphere.

MSA Premaire SABA |
| |
The PremAire SABA is a full-face, pressure-demand, Type-C supplied-air respirator with a patented waist-mounted manifold that gives it incredible flexibility. Featuring five individual ports, the manifold makes it possible to add any of these capabilities:
Supplied-air respirator with emergency-escape air cylinder for egress from IDLH atmospheres.
Combination supplied-air/air-purifying respirator, which lets you move freely from station to station without being tethered to an air-supply hose, yet still be protected by the device's air-purifying capability.
Supplied-air respirator with dual-supply capability -- an MSA exclusive that eliminates the need to drag long lengths of air-supply hose around the work area.
Supplied-air respirator with Vortex tube, which provides body cooling, or warming, whenever protective clothing is required.
No matter which option you choose, you'll find that the PremAire System provides dependable protection, engineering excellence and cost-effective versatility.
